Napolean House **** $$ Dark wood ambiance with classical music in the background.  Very civilized.
Tujague's *** $$ Old fashioned belly-up bar that hasn't changed in 150 years.
Uptown/Garden District
Bayou Bar (Pontchartrain Hotel) *** $$ Dark and comfortable with piano bar in the evenings.
Victorian Lounge (Columns Hotel) *** $$ Venue fits the name.  Local gathering spot.
