For reasons yet unknown, Sunday’s Super Bowl broadcast was preempted in the Tucson TV viewing area for a 30-second pornographic interlude.

News accounts of the salacious scene have been reduced to pandering rather than reporting. A web site offered a link that played the entire 30-second clip, but posted an ominous warning that “Some may be offended. Contains frontal male nudity. ”

Why not quit beating around the bush and say, “Click here to see dick. ”Who could resist the temptation to view a strange man’s penis in widescreen high definition?

Millions have clicked.

The local TV station received a deluge of calls complaining about the disturbing interruption. Many expressed their displeasure over the early withdrawal after 30 seconds of teasing.
